Eco Green Homes Ltd, led by Kush Bhargava, has been building eco-friendly homes since 2010, aiming to make green homes affordable and accessible in New Zealand. Eco Green Homes is redefining the building industry, offering a home that is affordable and includes a healthy indoor environment.
These houses provide a lower environmental impact when compared to traditional homes. The team at Eco Green Homes work to minimize the waste of natural resources as well as reduce the waste created during and after construction.
Part of the mission to clients, is to decrease the energy demand on their new home, while improving water efficiency & indoor air quality. Alongside this, the build-time will be dramatically reduced, through a proven offsite manufacturing process.
Eco Green Homes is the first company in New Zealand to achieve a 10-star rating under the New Zealand Green Building Council’s Homestar Version 3 rating tool. Their landmark project, completed in 2017, was the first home in the country to attain a perfect 10-star Homestar rating under Version 3. This home also received a 5-star Lifemark rating, reflecting its commitment to accessibility and universal design.

Eco Green Homes provides a range of international green building systems, including HERS, Homestar (NZGBC), and LEED, all of which are certified independently by a third party.
Additionally, third-party green building certification is available through the Homestar Green rating tool from the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC).
